Teacher Work Day
With the winter months upon us, it is important to keep our students safe. We will do our best to get students outside every day, as long as the temperatures are high enough. We will offer an inside option on days when the wind chill is 32 or below. Students are able to go outside if their skin is covered.
Word Study Update
NO WORDS THIS WEEK! We will be doing a mini unit on reference materials.

The students are really enjoying the Making Meaning lessons. We are working on unit 4, focusing on narrative texts. This week's book is:

The students are really enjoying the procedural writing unit. Ask your child what they have decided to write about! We are also beginning a Thank You Note unit.
