Camp Albemarle
Our annual trip to Camp Albemarle is quickly approaching. This is a wonderful experience for each fourth grader that they will remember for years. This trip needs MANY adults to help out. Please click on this link and sign up for what you can!
Language Arts Update
Students need to recognize cause and effect relationships in all types of texts. What students don't realize is that they have been experiencing cause and effect relationships their whole lives! "You can have dessert if you eat all your dinner." You can help at home by pointing out when you use cause and effect and asking your child which part is the cause and which part is the effect.
Math Update
We are still working on those fractions and decimals. Our focus specifically has been ordering fractions with unlike denominators. For example, put these fractions in order from least to greatest:
2/5, 4/6, 1/2
