          Reading Update

We are continuing to focus on reading strategies. We are also working prefixes and suffixes. It is important for children to be able to take words apart so they can understand the word's meaning. As you are reading at home, see if your child can find examples.

          Math Update

As we dive into our fraction unit, we are learning about how fractions and decimals go hand and hand. For example, 0.75 = 3/4 and 0.80 = 4/5. You can help at home by breaking everyday items into parts and labeling their amounts.
