Reading Update
This week we will be taking a break from our Making Meaning book lessons and focusing on test-taking strategies with reading skills. We will be using a website called ReadWorks.org. This is a great website for differentiating text for student needs.Word Study Update
Please keep working on using words in daily writing. We have noticed that even though our students are mastering their weekly tests, they are not applying these skills across the content areas.Writing Update
This week we will be working on identifying what a complete sentence is and what it isn't.
Math Update
After taking the unit three pretest, we created new math groups to emphasize student strengths. Students may or may not have the same math teacher for the next four weeks. These groups will begin Tuesday. We will be using Monday for reteaching the trouble spots from unit two.
